WIPO is the global forum for intellectual property services, policy, information and cooperation. We are a self-funding agency of the United Nations, with 188 member states.Their mission is to lead the development of a balanced and effective international intellectual property (IP) system that enables innovation and creativity for the benefit of all. Our mandate, governing bodies and procedures are set out in the WIPO Convention, which established WIPO in 1967.

The IP Academy (Singapore) is a national initiative dedicated to the deepening and broadening of Singapore’s knowledge and capabilities in Intellectual Property (IP) protection, exploitation and management.Given the value and importance of intellectual assets and creativity as primary sources of wealth and competitive advantage, the IP Academy aims to build a thriving culture that encourages the management and harnessing of innovation, and the resultant IP rights for the achievement of success in this global knowledge-driven economy.

The IP Academy’s roles include building capacity for the growth of the IP services industry, and organising IP thought leadership activities through conferences and roundtables, positioning Singapore as an IP hub.

The Intellectual Asset Management magazine (IAM) is a bimonthly magazine published in English and focused on “intellectual property from a business point of view”. Its publisher is Globe White Page Ltd, andits tagline is “Maximising IP value for business”. Its first issue was published in 2003 (July/August 2003 issue).
IAM is one of the publications produced by The IP Media Group, which was formed in 2008. The group also publishes World Trademark Review, a magazine for trademark specialists, organizes the IP Business Congress and runs the IP Hall of Fame.
WIPO Green is an interactive marketplace for sustainable technology which brings together innovative green technologies and individuals or companies together to commercialize, license or otherwise access or distribute green technology. WIPO Green’s database comprises technologies at all stages of development, from research to final product, and are available for license, joint collaboration, and sale.
WIPO Green has partnered with IIPCC to provide free facility to its members to register and timestamp their innovative technologies at IIPCC’s digital platform International Knowledge Registry.
Established in 2000, and supported by government agencies Create Hong Kong and the Film Development Fund, the Hong Kong – Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF) is the leading film project market in Asia. The HAF brings Asian filmmakers with upcoming film projects to Hong Kong for co-production ventures with top film financiers, producers, bankers, distributors and buyers. Attracting more than 1,000 filmmakers and financiers from at least 35 countries and regions, around 25 to 30 projects are selected annually to participate in the three-day event.
